Description

Delight in the flavors of Italy with these baked sub sandwiches, filled with layers of cured meats, melted provolone cheese, and marinara sauce, all baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup sliced salami
  • 1 cup sliced ham
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil (for brushing)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Layer the sliced salami, ham, and pepperoni evenly on the bottom half of each roll.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese over the meats.
  5. Drizzle marinara sauce over the cheese and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Close the hoagie rolls and brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
