Description

A delicious and creamy pasta dish featuring Cajun-seasoned chicken and shrimp, served with rigatoni for a delightful meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced chicken and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning; cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  8. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Can substitute shrimp with other seafood or vegetables.
