Ingredients

- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, flour, milk, melted butter, and eggs in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer over medium heat until shimmering.
- Scoop small portions of the potato mixture and shape into balls.
- Carefully place balls in hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes.
- Remove puffs with a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
You can prepare the potato mixture a day in advance. For a lighter option, these puffs can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for about 20–25 minutes.
