Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh or imitation), chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place one tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper and seal.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep fryer or pot.
  4. Fry in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

You can prepare the filling ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to a day. For a healthier option, try air frying at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes.
