Description

Delicious flaky pizza rolls filled with gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry sheets
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, about 4×4 inches.
  4. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce in the center of each square.
  5. Add a generous amount of mozzarella cheese and a few pepperoni slices on top of the sauce.
  6. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
