A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring savory roast beef and melted cheese, served with a flavorful dipping sauce.

- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 8 ounces of thinly sliced roast beef
- 4 slices of provolone cheese
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until warm.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer the roast beef and provolone cheese.
- Top with the other two slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet and cut in half. Serve with the warm dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or peppers to the sandwich.
- Use a different type of cheese, like Swiss or cheddar, for a unique taste.
