Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Sauté the garlic in melted butter over medium heat until fragrant.
  4. Toast the rinsed rice in garlic butter for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Add chicken broth, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 15-18 minutes.
  7. Rest the rice covered for 5 minutes.
  8. Incorporate Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley; fluff with a fork.
