Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk.
  6. Fold in the blueberries gently until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaf before serving.
