- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the chicken and rice mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Combine the crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter in a separate bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture over the chicken and rice.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Allow the casserole to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can assemble the casserole a day in advance; just add 5-10 minutes to the baking time. Consider using an air fryer for a quicker option.
