Instructions
- Prepare the Beef Roast by trimming excess fat and seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear the Meat in a hot skillet on all sides until golden.
- Layer the seared roast in the slow cooker with sliced onions, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.
- Add the Broth to the slow cooker, ensuring the roast is almost submerged.
- Cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
- Make the Gravy by mixing cornstarch with cold water and stirring into the slow cooker liquid for 15 minutes on high.
- Serve sliced beef over mashed potatoes and smother with gravy, layered between slices of bread.
