Description

A succulent stuffed pork loin packed with caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and crunchy breadcrumbs, delivering a delightful symphony of flavors perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pork loin
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat, then add the onions.
  3. Caramelize the onions slowly for about 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Season the caramelized onions with garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix in the breadcrumbs and shredded cheese until well combined.
  6. Butterfly the pork loin by slicing it along its length without cutting all the way through.
  7. Stuff the pork loin with the onion mixture and tie it with kitchen twine.
  8. Place the stuffed pork in a roasting pan and pour beef broth over it.
  9. Roast for approximately 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  10. Let the pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
