Description

Tandoori Chicken Tikka Skewers are marinated chicken pieces grilled to perfection, bursting with flavors from traditional Indian spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, salt, cumin powder, and paprika.
  2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less tandoori masala.
  • Serve with a side of rice or naan for a complete meal.
