Description

Savory pork chops glazed with sweet apple butter and aromatic cinnamon—this dish brings the comfort of home cooking to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 cup apple butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and cinnamon on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce the heat and spread apple butter on each chop. If using, mix in Dijon mustard.
  5. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until pork is cooked through, checking for an internal temperature of 145°F.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Make-Ahead Tip: Prepare the apple butter in advance for convenience. Marinate the pork with spices ahead of cooking for enhanced flavors.
