Description

Crispy baked taquitos filled with savory ground beef, melted cheese, and spices, perfect for family meals or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 10 small corn tortillas
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef with the diced onion in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Drain excess fat, leaving just enough for flavor.
  4. Add garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper; cook for another minute.
  5. Incorporate shredded cheese into the beef mixture until melted.
  6. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for 20 seconds to make them pliable.
  7. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto each tortilla and roll tightly.
  8. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place rolled taquitos seam-side down.
  9. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  11. Serve with salsa or guacamole.

Notes

For a quicker cooking method, use an air fryer set to 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
