Description

A delightful pasta salad capturing all the flavors of your favorite Big Mac, perfect for summer gatherings and potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces macaroni pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup French dressing
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook your macaroni: Boil a large pot of salted water, add the macaroni, and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. Brown the ground beef: Heat skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix the salad: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled macaroni, browned beef, diced pickles, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar. Toss gently.
  4. Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, French dressing, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine the dressing and salad: Pour dressing over salad and toss until well coated.
  6. Chill before serving: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
