- 8 ounces macaroni pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup diced pickles
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup French dressing
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook your macaroni: Boil a large pot of salted water, add the macaroni, and cook until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- Brown the ground beef: Heat skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Mix the salad: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled macaroni, browned beef, diced pickles, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar. Toss gently.
- Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, French dressing, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Combine the dressing and salad: Pour dressing over salad and toss until well coated.
- Chill before serving: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
