Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the filling by combining blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  3. Roll out the pastry on a floured surface.
  4. Cut the pastry into 4×4 inch squares.
  5. Fill each square with a tablespoon of blackberry mixture.
  6. Fold the pastry to create a triangle and seal the edges.
