Description

Delicious rolls filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and bursting with blueberries, perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for filling)
  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add softened butter, milk, and egg to form a dough.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Mix cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, blueberries, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly to form a log, then slice into rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  9. Beat the egg and brush it over the rolls.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes

Optional: For added flavor, sprinkle a bit of lemon zest into the cream cheese mixture.
