Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  3. Mix gently until well integrated, then form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Whisk together the brown sugar and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
  6. Add the pineapple chunks and stir to coat.

  9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare and refrigerate meatballs a day in advance. For a healthier option, try air frying at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
