- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté the chicken with olive oil in a large skillet for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook orzo with chicken broth in the skillet for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
- Cream the mixture by adding heavy cream and half of the cheese.
- Prepare a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the mixture in, topping with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
