Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl and whisk until mixed.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips carefully.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
