- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Soak the chicken: In a mixing bowl, soak the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix the coating: In another bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the oil: In your fryer or large skillet, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Coat the chicken: Take the soaked chicken tenders out of the buttermilk, dredge each piece in the flour mixture.
- Fry to perfection: Carefully place the tenders in the hot oil, frying for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain & serve: Once cooked, drain on paper towels and place on a cooling rack. Serve hot.
