Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces linguine
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine: Boil a pot of salted water and add the linguine, cooking according to the package instructions until just al dente. Drain and set aside, but don’t rinse.
- Melt the butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it foams and turns golden.
- Brown the ground beef: Add the ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes; season with salt and pepper.
- Add the garlic: Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the cream: Gently pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer without boiling.
- Incorporate the cheese: Gradually stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce.
- Combine with pasta: Add the cooked linguine into the skillet and toss gently to coat.
- Season to taste: Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve and garnish: Plate the linguine and add fresh chopped parsley on top. Enjoy!
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare the sauce in advance and store it in the fridge for a day. Reheat gently on the stovetop before tossing with fresh linguine.
