Description

Tender, flavorful chicken slow-cooked with ranch seasoning and pepperoncini, served in soft sliders for a perfect meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers
  • Slider buns
  • Slices of cheese (e.g., provolone or cheddar)

Instructions

  1. Layer the chicken: Begin by placing the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Season generously: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  3. Add the butter: Place the stick of butter atop the chicken.
  4. Scatter the pepperoncini peppers into the pot.
  5. Cook it low and slow: Cover and set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Shred and mix: Use shredder forks to break the chicken apart in the juices.
  7. Assemble your sliders: Spoon the shredded chicken onto slider buns and top with cheese.

Notes

Prep all ingredients the night before for convenience. Use an oven if a slow cooker is not available.
