Description
A comforting dish of frozen ravioli layered with marinara, ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan, cooked to perfection in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 package of frozen ravioli (cheese, meat, or spinach-filled)
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 jar of marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef or Italian sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Spoon half of the ricotta cheese over the ravioli.
- Sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layering process: another layer of marinara sauce, more ravioli, ricotta, and finish with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Top with the remaining marinara sauce and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Assemble layers the night before. Can also be baked in an oven-safe dish at 350°F for 30-40 minutes.
