Description

A vibrant and creamy pasta salad featuring dill pickles, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (shells or rotini)
  • 1 cup dill pickles, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add your choice of shells or rotini and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Mix the salad components: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, diced dill pickles, and chopped fresh dill.
  3. Prepare the dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, garlic powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Toss and coat: Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Chill and serve: Cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
