Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread (French or Italian)
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup of pesto
- 1/4 cup of sliced olives (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of dried Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and place it cut-side-up on a baking sheet.
- Blend mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, pesto, olives (if using), garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper until creamy.
- Spread the cheese mixture generously on the cut sides of the bread.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
- Bake for about 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese becomes bubbly and tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Slice into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
Make the cheese mixture ahead of time and assemble just before baking for maximum freshness.
