Description

A warm, inviting loaf filled with creamy, melted cheese and flavorful herbs, perfect for gatherings and cozy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of bread (French or Italian)
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup of pesto
  • 1/4 cup of sliced olives (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and place it cut-side-up on a baking sheet.
  3. Blend mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, pesto, olives (if using), garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture generously on the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake for about 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese becomes bubbly and tops are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Slice into pieces and serve warm.

Notes

Make the cheese mixture ahead of time and assemble just before baking for maximum freshness.
