- 6 strips of crispy bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Mix the milk, melted butter, and egg in another bowl until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined.
- Fold in the crumbled bacon.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it out to about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips, about 1 inch wide, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix the powdered sugar with maple syrup to create a glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm donut sticks and serve immediately.
