- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each one is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Add the vanilla extract.
- Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks.
- Scoop a tablespoon of dough and press a small amount of salted caramel sauce into the center, then cover it with more dough.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt before they cool.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
