Description

A safe and delicious edible sugar cookie dough recipe, perfect for indulging without baking.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 23 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat-Treat the flour: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread all-purpose flour evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars: In a large bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Use an electric mixer to blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add vanilla and salt: Pour in the vanilla extract and sprinkle in the salt. Mix well to enhance the flavors.
  4. Incorporate the flour: Gradually add the cooled flour to the butter-sugar mixture and stir until fully combined.
  5. Adjust consistency: If the dough is dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time until the perfect creamy consistency is reached.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips if using, ensuring an even distribution.
  7. Serve and enjoy directly, or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes
