Description

A vibrant salsa that combines the sun-drenched sweetness of ripe mango and juicy pineapple, enhanced with zesty lime and fresh cilantro.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup ripe mango, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced fresh pineapple, ripe mango, and finely chopped red onion. Gently stir them together.
  2. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture.
  3. Add the freshly chopped cilantro, along with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Gently toss everything together using a spatula or your hands.
  5. Allow the salsa to sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This salsa can be made a few hours in advance and stores well in the fridge for 2-3 days.
