Description

Tender sirloin steak strips charred to perfection and glazed with a luscious honey and garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
  2. Add the steak strips to the marinade, ensuring each piece is generously coated, and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill pan over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later use.
  5. Place the steak strips in the grill pan, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until a beautiful char develops.
  6. Brush the reserved marinade onto the steak during the last minute of cooking.
  7. Remove from heat and let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

Marinate the steak a few hours or overnight for enhanced flavor. You can also use an air fryer or oven as alternatives to the grill pan.
