- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Combine honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Add the steak strips to the marinade, ensuring each piece is generously coated, and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill pan over medium-high heat until hot.
- Remove the steak from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later use.
- Place the steak strips in the grill pan, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until a beautiful char develops.
- Brush the reserved marinade onto the steak during the last minute of cooking.
- Remove from heat and let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
Marinate the steak a few hours or overnight for enhanced flavor. You can also use an air fryer or oven as alternatives to the grill pan.
