Description

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Slowly incorporate warm water and olive oil into the dry mixture.
  3. Knead the dough: Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let it rise: Cover dough with a kitchen towel and allow to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven: Set it to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Prepare the baking pan: Grease it with olive oil, then punch down and spread the dough evenly.
  7. Create indentations: Use fingers to make small dimples and fill each with jam.
  8. Bake to perfection: Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool and dust: Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before slicing.
