Description

A comforting classic featuring juicy meatballs and al dente spaghetti coated in rich marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti
  • Ground beef
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Egg
  • Garlic, minced
  • Onion, chopped
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • Marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, then drain and toss with olive oil.
  2. Mix the meatball mixture: Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently.
  3. Brown the meatballs: Heat oil in a skillet and shape the mixture into meatballs. Brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Simmer in marinara: Add marinara sauce to the skillet, scrape up browned bits, then add the meatballs back in and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Plate the spaghetti topped with meatballs and sauce, add extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a quicker method, use an air fryer for the meatballs. Freezing uncooked meatballs in advance can speed up meal prep.
