Description

Irresistible bite-sized cheese balls featuring a rich creamy center, coated with crispy bacon or nuts, perfect for snacking on any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (or nuts of choice)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pretzel sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, crumbled bacon (or nuts), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use a hand mixer or fork to blend until the mixture is nice and smooth.
  2. Once combined, use your hands to scoop out portions and form them into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. Roll each ball in additional crumbled bacon or chopped nuts to coat your cheese balls.
  4. Insert a pretzel stick into the center of each cheese ball for a playful serving method.
  5. Chill the assembled cheese balls in the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare these bites a day in advance and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can also be baked for a slightly different flavor.
