- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl, whisking until blended. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef in a single layer and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Toss in the broccoli florets, stirring to combine. Cook for another 3 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
- Pour the reserved sauce over the beef and broccoli and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients, around 5 minutes.
- Garnish with the chopped green onions before serving.
