Description

Ingredients

  • 4 flaky croissants, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups gravy (homemade or store-bought)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the croissants by cutting them into bite-sized pieces and placing them in a greased baking dish.
  3. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  4. Whisk the eggs in a large mixing bowl, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine the egg mixture with the croissants and cooked sausage, folding gently to coat every piece.
  6. Add the shredded cheese on top of the mixture.
  7. Refrigerate overnight, covered with plastic wrap.
