Description

Crispy and golden Parmesan Fish Nuggets, featuring tender fish fillets coated in a flavorful breadcrumb mixture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Oil spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Dip each piece of fish into the beaten egg, ensuring it’s completely coated.
  5. Coat each piece with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  6. Place the coated fish on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray lightly with oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  8. Serve with homemade tartar sauce.

Notes

Pat the fish dry before coating for better adherence. You can use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
