- 1 lb fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- Oil spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dip each piece of fish into the beaten egg, ensuring it’s completely coated.
- Coat each piece with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Place the coated fish on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray lightly with oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Serve with homemade tartar sauce.
Notes
Pat the fish dry before coating for better adherence. You can use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
