- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped peanut butter cups
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Cream together the peanut butter and softened butter until smooth and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
- Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar, mixing until combined and light in texture.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped peanut butter cups and chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
- Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden and center is still gooey.
- Cool in the pan before cutting into bars.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in nuts or a swirl of Nutella.
