Description

A delightful twist on a classic dessert, this easy-to-make Pineapple Upside Down Dump Cake features sweet pineapple layered in a moist cake, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pineapple slices in juice
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Drain the pineapple and arrange the slices at the bottom of the dish.
  4. Mix brown sugar and melted butter, then pour over the pineapple.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pineapple mixture.
  6. Add optional toppings, such as chopped pecans and cinnamon.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
