Description

Delicious homemade potstickers with a savory filling, perfect for any gathering or cozy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Dumpling wrappers
  • 1 lb ground pork or chicken
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup shredded vegetables (carrots, cabbage, mushrooms)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, chopped green onions, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and choice of vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a small spoonful of filling at the center.
  3. Lightly wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in half, and seal tightly.
  4. In a non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat and fry potstickers until golden brown on the bottom, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour a splash of water into the pan, cover with a lid, and steam for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

Make ahead and store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze uncooked potstickers for up to 3 months.
