Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan generously.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. Stir vigorously until the mixture is smooth.
- Add in the eggs: Crack in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Whisk the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Combine the mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir gently until the ingredients just come together.
- Fold in chocolate chips: Use a spatula to gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Prepare to bake: Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Bake the bread: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 60-70 minutes.
- Cool down: Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

For added richness, melted coconut oil or unsalted butter can be used instead of vegetable oil.
