- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Prepare wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat the softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in raisins evenly into the batter.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into bars.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Allow to cool before cutting for cleaner slices.
