Description

Delight in the flaky layers of Sourdough Ham & Cheese Croissants, combining tangy sourdough, savory ham, and creamy cheese for a perfect treat.


Ingredients

  • Croissant Dough
  • Sliced Ham
  • Sliced Cheese
  • Butter
  • Flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface until about a ¼-inch thickness.
  3. Cut the dough into triangles with a broad base about 4-5 inches wide.
  4. Add a slice of ham and a slice of cheese toward the broader end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the triangles from the wide end toward the tip, tucking the tip underneath to secure.
  6. Place croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the croissants a day in advance and refrigerate overnight. Add a few extra minutes to the baking time in the morning.
