Description
A delightful fusion of tender chicken and al dente spaghetti coated in a savory soy-chili sauce, topped with crunchy peanuts and fresh green onions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Spaghetti
- 1 lb Boneless Chicken Breast, sliced
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Chili Sauce
- 2 tbsp Peanuts, crushed
- 2 Green Onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp Sugar
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, but save a bit of the cooking water.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Add sliced boneless chicken breast to the skillet, cooking for approximately 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Mix soy sauce, chili sauce, and sugar in a small bowl. Pour this mixture into the skillet with the chicken and let it simmer briefly.
- Toss in the cooked spaghetti, stirring gently to coat each noodle with the flavorful sauce. If the mixture feels dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
- Serve hot, topped with chopped peanuts and sliced green onions.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and chili sauce before cooking. Customize with additional veggies or proteins as preferred.
