Description

A deliciously spicy chipotle egg breakfast sandwich that awakens your senses with creamy eggs, melted cheese, and crunchy toasted buns.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, or goat cheese)
  • 4 toasted sandwich buns (English muffins, bagels, or gluten-free buns)
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional fillings: avocado, crispy bacon, or fresh spinach

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and crack the eggs into it, swirling gently for even cooking.
  2. Season the eggs with salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
  3. Place a slice of cheese on each egg in the last minute, covering with a lid to melt.
  4. Toast the buns until golden and crispy.
  5. Spread chipotle sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Layer the cheesy eggs on top and add any optional fillings you prefer.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare chipotle sauce in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Cook eggs in a silicone mold for air frying.
