- 1 package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (15 oz) strawberry pie filling
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9’x13′ inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
- Prepare the cream cheese mixture by combining cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and milk in a mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to whip until smooth.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the strawberry layer.
- Add the yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Make-ahead: Prepare the cream cheese and strawberries the night before. For gluten-free, use gluten-free cake mix.
