Description

A delightful mix of creamy cheesecake and sweet strawberries baked to perfection, this Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is an easy dessert that transforms any ordinary day into a celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (15 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9’x13′ inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Prepare the cream cheese mixture by combining cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and milk in a mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to whip until smooth.
  4. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  5. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the strawberry layer.
  6. Add the yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
  8. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  9. Cool for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the cream cheese and strawberries the night before. For gluten-free, use gluten-free cake mix.
