- 20 large pasta shells
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 cup refried beans
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup salsa
- Sour cream (for serving)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish)
- Cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Brown the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat, drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and refried beans, mixing well to heat through.
- Stuff each cooked shell with the meat mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Pour salsa over the stuffed shells and top with shredded cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve with sour cream, garnished with green onions and cilantro.
